A retired Navy Chief Petty Officer, Robert known to many as Bobby D, dedicated over 24 years to officiating high school and youth football, softball, basketball and baseball games.  Bobby D's love and respect for the game and fair play help set the high standard expected in sportsmanship in our area.

"Get back coach, let the kids play"

     The Robert E. Dudley Sportsmanship Award is awarded annually to the team that best represents the best sportsmanship standards on and off the field.  Attributes such as player and coaches sideline discipline and fan spirit are also factors in the selecting of this award.  Recipients are selected by the GCYFA Executive staff and the Five Flags Officials Organization.
