The Henry
McAway Award is presented annually of the Coach or
Volunteer that best represents the spirit of
volunteerism needed in youth sports. In
addition to loyalty and leadership on and off the
field, recipients must possess a will to do whatever
is needed to support his/her team, park and
community.
In over 25 years of Volunteering,
Coach McAway has served his beloved Rattler
organization as Head Coach, Asst. Coach,
Park President, Concession Stand Manager, Equipment
Manager, Field Maintenance Coordinator, Park
Registration Coordinator and many other thankless
jobs needed to operate a youth program.
